Students and Research scholars should keep inside the cabin at the entrance, all their belongings including bags, cell-phones.

Manuscripts of personal use, printed material, books, periodicals and other personal objects should be deposited at the Reception counter.

A record note is kept on a table at the entrance of the library. All the Visitors are expected to write their name and address in the Gate Entry Register, clearly specifying the purpose of visit.

Absolute silence should be maintained in the library. Gossip and discussing politics are prohibited.

Before leaving the counter of issues, readers, students and research scholars must make sure that the books borrowed are in good condition. Complaints later will not be considered.

All the students and research scholars must show the bonafide certificates issued by their institutions. Employed / retired persons must give proof of their identity.

University, College students and research scholars should enrol themselves as members of the library by remitting the fee as advised by the Chief Librarian.

The membership fee is non-refundable.

Visitors are not allowed to read inside the library their personal books, magazines or newspapers.

Reprographic section is available for photocopies by Xerox mode. For scanning and photography of any sort, permission should be obtained from the Chief Librarian. Copies using smartphones or other devices punishable, if detected.

Underscoring and scribbling in books are punishable. Books are to be returned safely in good condition. Heavy penalty will be levied for damages to books.

Books are not transferable. It is the sole responsibility of the borrower.

Books are to be returned on or before the due date stamped. Penalty would be levied for each day of delay.

All the users are advised to leave the books on the table after use. Do not meddle with the shelves.

The library is equipped with CCTV cameras at many spots. Avoid misbehaviour.

The library is a storehouse of knowledge. Help us to maintain it elegantly.
